How to know that how many SIM cards are activated with my ID


Many times it happens that more than one SIM is activated in your name without your knowledge. There are also many cases where people secretly take out SIMs to do illegal things in the name of others and act like intimidating or blackmailing them. The person whose name has SIM activated does not know. To buy a new SIM, you have to give a copy of Aadhaar card, DL or any other document as ID proof. It is often heard that many fake SIMs have been sold through copies of the documents provided by you.

 In fact, now you can easily find out how many mobile numbers are active in your name.

From Department of Telecommunications (DoT) portal tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in has been launched by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT). Which lets you know if someone is using a mobile number in your name without your knowledge.

 You can know in minutes how many SIMs are active in your name


 Step 1: First of all you have to go to tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in portal of telecom department.


 Step 2: Enter your mobile number here.


 Step 3: After that, an OTP will come to the mobile for verification of your mobile number.


 Step 4: After giving OTP, your number will be verified.


 Step 5: Now you can see the list of all the mobile numbers that are running in your ID.


 Step 6: If you have a fraud SIM in your name, you can complain about that number.


 Step 7: You will then investigate the allegation of fake number.


 Step 8: At the request of the user, the telecom company will block or deactivate this number. Customers will be provided with a ticket ID, which will enable them to track how much work they have yet done on their request.
