India bans 59 China-linked phone/Android apps, orders companies to block them: Complete list of all apps

                                                     

             Chinese firms have long been suspected of building backdoors in their hardware and software system, one reason why several governments across the planet are uneasy at the prospect of deploying.

These apps embrace some major names like Bytedance-owned TikTok and Helo, Tencent’s WeChat, UC Browser, Baidu Map, Mi Community, and Mi Video.
